Lightbulb Disability seminar

Dear all,

Aberdeenshire North Access Panel (ANAP) has been contracted by NHS Grampian to hold 2 disability seminars in the North east of the Shire. The first will be in Peterhead on the 9th June at the Salvation Army hall in Windmill Street and the second will be in the Banff and Buchan College in July, final date to be confirmed. Both events will start at 10am for registration and tea/coffee, and lunch will be provided.
The object of the event is to ask people with disabilities and their carers about how well they think NHS Grampian has been doing regarding its Disability Equality Duty and Scheme, and what they feel are the priorities for the Health Service over the forthcoming three years.
This is your opportunity to direct the course of the service being provided so I strongly suggest that if you have any concern about how the NHS should proceed over the next three years, you attend and have your views recorded.
Pre registration is required, so please contact ANAP on 01779 491130 or Linda on 01779 473687. If you prefer you can email on accessnorthabz@hotmail.com or write to ANAP, 1 Carters Close, Peterhead AB42 1UU.
Reasonable expenses will be paid.

We look forward to seeing you at the events.

Best wishes to all,
